DIY Air Fresheners with Essential Oils

Mine isn’t all that pretty, I know you can do much better. It gets the job done though!

 

Here are a couple options for DIY Air Fresheners with Essential Oils

Option 1:

1. Fill mason jar halfway with baking soda
2. Add 8-12 drops of essential oil Here are the only therapeutic grade oils we trust and use.
3. Shake every few days to revive scent
4. Decorative Lids:
– Trace jar lid onto decorative paper.
– Cut out circle.
– Place circle in lid ring and screw onto jar.
– Use a needle, fork, etc. to poke holes in the paper.
9. Wrap with ribbons
10. Tie on fresh sprig of rosemary or vanilla pod to indicate freshener’s scent

Option 2:

2. Add 8-12 drops of essential oil Here are the only therapeutic grade oils we trust and use.
3. Shake every few days to revive scent
4. Decorative Lids:
– Trace jar lid onto decorative paper.
– Cut out circle.
– Place circle in lid ring and screw onto jar.
– Use a needle, fork, etc. to poke holes in the paper.

10. Tie on fresh sprig of rosemary or vanilla pod to indicate freshener’s scent

Another option for the lid is to use tulle from the fabric or hobby store and wrap with a bow.

  1. 10 drops Purification and 10 drops Lemon
  2. 7 drops Nutmeg, 5 drops Cinnamon, 7 drops Orange
  3. 8 drops Idaho Balsam Fir and 10 drops Lemon
  4. 8 drops Stress Away and 8 drops Lime
  5. 8 drops Peppermint and 8 drops Lemon
  6. 10 drops Lemon and 8 drops Rosemary
  7. 8 drops Lavender and 10 drops Roman Chamomile
  8. 10 drops Citrus Fresh and 5 drops Spearmint
  9. 7 drops Tea Tree, 5 drops Purification and 5 drops Lemon
  10. 7 drops Christmas Spirit, 8 drops Idaho Balsam Fir
