Perfect all-in-one natural makeup removing face wipes

Perfect all natural makeup removing face wipes

Do you have those certain beauty products you absolutely can’t live without?  These wipes are one of those for me.  I absolutely love them and have tried a number of recipes to perfect this.  Each ingredient has an amazing benefit and my skin GLOWS when I use these. It supports blemish-free skin, my skin tone is more even and it’s not a 7 step process. I’ll be honest, I tried many different skin regiments and I couldn’t stick to them.  It was just too much (or I am just too lazy) to wash, tone, moisturize every. single. night.  I have a moisturizer I love, don’t get me wrong.  And I exfoliate when I remember, but it wasn’t going to happen every day.  Nope.

Here’s what I have come up with as my perfect combo. I mix all ingredients in a 1 cup measuring cup.

First, I add a tablespoon of Dr. Bronner’s Fair Trade & Organic Castile Liquid Soap – (Lavender, 32 oz). I use this for a number of household cleaners, so I buy the big bottle to have around. It’s great because it’s completely biodegradable and vegetable-based usable for just about any cleaning task. These simple, ecologically formulated soaps are gentle enough for washing body, face or hair, but also powerful enough for tasks like dishwashing, mopping, laundry and even pest control.  Then I add 1/2 cup of Thayers Alcohol-free Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera .  Thayers Rose Petal Alcohol-Free Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera Formula Toner will make your skin bloom. Rose Thayer’s remarkably soothing Toner is made with rose-petal water, Vitamin E and our proprietary Witch Hazel extract.  Then I add 10 drops of each lavender and frankincense essential oils. Lavender has many known healing benefits for skin.  Frankincense is also a wonderful addition to any skin care product and other great additions to the face wipes include manuka, purification and melrose essential oils. I mix all the ingredients together and top off the measuring cup with distilled water.

I use a PET certified plastic container (I find them at the dollar store) and half a roll of paper towels.  I don’t get the super soft thick ones, I prefer the cheaper generic ones, which I often buy at the dollar store as well.  I place the half roll in the container and pour the miracle mixture through the middle and then you will be able to remove the paper towel roll cardboard and pull the towels through the middle.  It’s easy, inexpensive and has endless skin benefits.
